You've done an amazing job Pieter. Without being disrespectful to the ability of Michal, and the other Wikidot developers… I think they'll have trouble filling your shoes.

I look forward to seeing you around in the community, and I also look forward to seeing the changes that will undoubtedly occur as a result of this. Looks like we'll be able to get to know Michal a lot more ;-)

Good luck to you, your family, and to your business, iMatix.

— Shane

When I wasn't that familiar with css yet and was adjusting the appearance of my site, I was flabbergasted that the Wikidot CEO himself offered to actually do it for me. All CEOs should step down from their podiums and follow your example, Pieter.

You have been the link between users and devs, which I think has been very beneficial for Wikidot improvement.

Good luck for your own business and enjoy the time with your kids (I do, my legs are still sore for todays snowboarding session)!

I am glad to see that your family is more important than us. Just take care of your kids and wife, like you've taken care of wikidot. Congratulations on the new baby, and good luck!

Thanks, Brunhilda, and everyone… but you're all really the ones to thank, with your endless help in making Wikidot a better place for people to come and build their communities and sites. I'm going to enjoy the next while just watching my kids destroy my stuff, and with my wife. But I'll still be around, as a user of Wikidot and hopefully active member of the community.

Good luck Pieter, with both the change of role and the new family member.

I think there would be almost unanimous agreement that your time at the helm has been good for Wikidot. I have certainly been impressed with the improvements rolled out in the last 8 months, and am looking forward to using Wikidot for a long time to come.
