First of all, thank you very much to you and the rest of the Wikidot development team for working so tirelessly to bring Wikidot back online. Moreover, I'm happy to hear that the platform has undergone some upgrades — both hardware an software-wise alike — in the process. One question: will you and the rest (or some) of the team remain contactable for the foreseeable future?

Unfortunately, over the past few years, there's been very few instances where I or most other Wikidot users were able to contact the platform staff regarding bugs, questions, suggestions, concerns, etc. With the devs being back in light of the recent hack, will y'all be sticking around to continue working on the service (through either general maintenance, upgrades, or both) to continue improving user experience and ensure that something like this doesn't happen again, or will things go back to how they were before?

Communication is key and I believe you handled the problem quite well despite being unable to physically do much to rectify it apart from waiting on Amazon.

Hi Michal!
I can acknowledge the better performance on my genealogy-template wiki:
http://genealogy-template.wikidot.com
using lots of „custom fields“ in the live templates ( category „per“ and „fam“ )

See as an example :
Albert Einstein (1879-1955)
and his sister:
Maria Winteler (1881-1951).

The answer-time is now very good, not as before .
Now it makes really sense to make this wiki clone-able with the live templates for private use.

for the new implementations and also for the information, what was going on in the last weeks in / on wikidot development. We all are/were waiting for communications what are you and your team doing in the development…
At the moment I am a litle astonished and I am thinking now about the changes which are now possible and where ( with the new span_ : easier "hoover"ing, with the expressions and if's: activ reactions on ListPages results?).
Lot of work to try on the communiy-playground & snippets!

Question: are now with the new "if's" also diffrerent includes in the life situation possible ( if a mobile… than include module-css else standard-css) ?

This reads like an ad in many ways… my suggestion would be to severely cut down on the number of links.

If you want to use IconDeposit as an example, it only needs to be linked up once - maybe twice.

Also not sure that there is a need to link to the Wikidot home page, since we're on the Wikidot blog already.

Might have some more feedback, but I'm on a phone at the moment so I'd rather not say much yet.

Post needs to be heavily edited IMO. Good start though.

May also be worthwhile asking Wikidot devs for permission to post.

I really like this design refresh, great job!

Works great on mobile
nice refresh over the existing design
flatter and more simplistic design

Personally, a couple of things that I'm not particularly a fan of:

I still liked the white dots for "dot"
the serif font used for the subtitles seems a little odd in a pro-dominantly sans-serif design

Couple of things I picked up too:

footer for the blog isn't styled correctly
I get the option to "manage site" even if I'm not an admin of this site (nor the www site)

Other than that, I'm loving it :)

About Bitcoin I cannot say much, ( only that the 15% discount offer is very good hidden in the" payment method" at the upgrade screen)…
"…isolated Virtual Private Cloud" looks good , is this the answer on the whole NSA discussion ? :)
and the internal infrastucture changes: as an old systemprogrammer and DB-Admin I can very good imagine the big work to be done in the background to shift to another server-setup.
I can say - I have not mentioned any interuption at this time.. means "Well done"!

Hm… I must admit I have never heard of this, but at the first glance, it looks like something that it might be very useful for me. I checked the video, but I still have some doubts: I get the bitcoins spending part, but how do you earn bitcoins? I mean, you have to earn them first in order to be able to spend them. Then, how much is it worth? What is exchange rate for for example, Euro, or US Dollar? in order to anyone accept this currency, it has to have some value like real money…

Excellent feature, which really boosts Wikidot's usefulness in a business environment.
