How's that? (21 words, but come on… One word over!!!) ;-)
Oh you can reduce a word and add punctuation to remain in the limit:

If its a good phrase, I don't think they will ignore it because of one word.
What do you think of the phrase itself?
Oh duh!
I think the phrase speaks the truth though :D
Honestly, 20 words couldn't do Wikidot any justice. But a billion word essay might come close to describing its brilliance.

I'm not writing though….
It would take at least 1,000,000 to describe what it could still do!!!
Unlimited possibilities with open source. *cough*make the wikidot server easier to install*cough* *cough*
Long one there….
I wonder if wikidot would allow trained developers to help with wikidot. EG, behind the scenes.
Apparently we can help out through github — personally, I don't know enough to help out.

I think the selling point there, is the fact that it is "Who can". It is like an emotional appeal. Like we are all one big happy wikidot family.
You can use it however you want, I just thought that… *cough*pro account*cough*… I would help.
Man, I must really be sick to be coughing so much. ;-)
Yes, I think you should get that cough looked at =)

I think, this is to less for a very useful web application for all "non"-developers..
We should never forget that most users are without any technical knowledge.

You could also make it sound more social:
I was thinking, doesn't sound as good with the word 'our', then I saw "Want to join in?" at the end and somehow it makes the whole thing sound a lot better ;)
Still divided between which one I like best though, and some of the other suggestions are great too
