We're all aware of the global crisis, which is making life grey all over the world. As a kind of a cure, and an excuse to have a little fun, we're organizing a theme contest that will run for the next 30 days. We now invite anyone with a hand for stylesheet design, especially if you've already made a custom CSS for your Wikidot site, to submit your best work to themes.wikidot.com.

As first prize we're giving away something called an "iPod", which I understand is very popular with the youth today. Apparently it plays music And, a Wikidot Pro+ Gift, ideal for that young nephew who wants to build a site for his gaming community. And we're also giving away a Wikidot Pro Gift for the best theme in each category (apart from the first prize winner).

The categories are something like: blog, business, wiki, educational, personal. The Wikidot team will choose the winner based on how many people actually use the theme, how original and elegant it is, and how well it works. We'll announce that on 10 August.

Your best chance is to submit your themes early and get people to try them, so you can improve them.

Good luck!
