Minimalist Editor Interface

On this blog, and in some of the template sites, I've installed squark's minimal editor CSS package with some tweaks to reduce the editor toolbar to 1 line of icons, and hide some of the rarely used links.

Gabrys comments that it's possible to make a nicer 1-line editor toolbar. But personally I prefer the minimal look. What do you think? Should we install this minimalist toolbar into all the non-beginner template sites? Should we make a nicer 1-line editor toolbar?

To get this minimalist editor, by the way, add this to your custom CSS page:

/* Strip down editor UI */
#wd-editor-toolbar-panel div + div { display: none; }
#np-editor-panel div + div { display: none;}
#edit-diff-button { display: none; }
#pagerate-button { display: none; }
#print-button { display: none; }
#site-tools-button { display: none; }
#page-info { display: none; }
#lock-info { display: none; }
.edit-help-34 { display: none; }
.page-watch-options { display: none; }
