We just rolled out a new version of ListPages that implements most of the new design sketch we've developed together. There are a lot of new features. We've been testing for some time but things may still break: if you use this module in your Wikidot sites and you find things are not working as before, please tell us, here.
Update: Please post bug reports on the new feedback site instead.
Can't wait till %%user%% comes.

The ListPages rollout seems to have broken the CountPages module — or at any rate, the pages I've looked at that I use it on now have massive lists of '%%count%% logs posted for August 2009.' showing, presumably one line for each child page, instead of just the total sum.
Example case: http://string-theory.wikidot.com/logs:august09
I've fixed this already.

It's not fixed, I'm encountering a problem with the CountPages module on my site.
On this page: http://cyclods.wikidot.com/download:skin, the total should be somewhere around the 30s-40s, but it tells me that I have only 5 results. It may have something to do with a redirect sending /limit/5 to the URL
5 skins in 7 categories
Six random pages in the skin category (to prove that there is more than five)
And yes, I stole the background from here ;)

CountPages is fixed. Your problem comes from changed policy for URL passed parameters.
PS: I hate this change. I hope we'll get back to explicit @URL for those parameters you want pass from URL.

Okay, so to prevent this from happening I need to add the url_prefix option to every CountPages and ListPages module on my website? =O

I hate that change too. But perhaps you could do a hybrid?
In this case, the category is set to all categories, unless a category is specified in the URL (in which case, the URL attribute for the category takes over).
Edit: Oh wait, you've done this already XD

A problem has occurred here.
Before, everything was fine. But it seems that this new thing made the URL govern all ListPages modules regardless of having an @URL or not. Therefore, the sidebar has a repeating thing when it is clearly defined as having a limit of one.
Confirmed here: http://sandbox.wikidot.com/aturlprob

I only use @URL in one part of my site if I remember correctly… and that's the same page as the CountPages module that I mentioned (above your post) — very likely that it's the @URL affecting CountPages as well then.
This goes to show that despite a large amount of testing, not everything is going to be perfect upon release ;) (I'm sure Microsoft uses that excuse a lot)

… I would like to control the number format … just like in Excel:
tags="=" no longer functions.

True. I get a list of ALL pages, not only the ones sharing the same tag.

I tried replacing "=" with "=="; it doesn't work either. List Pages lists ALL the pages in the site.

Any word on this, please????

Should be fixed by now, thanks for reporting!

I can confirm that it's working properly on my site now, so I assume it also works for kawina.

Now I notice that it works, in the case of created_by, both with single and double quotes.
Q: is the single quote valid everywhere double quotes were needed?
Cannot figure out why offset does not work here: http://themes.wikidot.com/sandbox:raw-list
You'll kick yourself. You had:
Let's have a closer look at the limit attribute. You will notice that you have specified:
I have appended the missing double-quotation to the page.

Thanks for the huge list of improvements, but it's not working 100% yet =)

Can we please have the official ListPages documentation page updated to reflect the new features and syntax? It's hard to reference it in 2 places.
Thanks,
