If, by any chance, any of our readers is attending Democamp in Poznań (Poland) tomorrow (Friday), don't forget to give us a friendly punch. Wikidot won't be running a booth this time nor have a dedicated presentation, but if you are going to be there, it should be easy to spot us. We will be wearing prototypal Wikidot T-shirts.
Democamp is targeted towards web startups in early stages, often looking for business partners or investors. Definitely not where Wikidot is now, but I personally hope for a chat with my old friends and pitch a few ideas.
Right. T-shirts!!! We accidentally might have a few extra T-shirts with the Wikidot logo. Instead of giving them away to random people we rather give them to you, our Wikidot Community. But so far we have not yet decided how to do this.
T-shirts are available in multiple sizes. There is also a larger Wikidot logo on the back. Sorry, no real photo right now, but we will update it as soon as we can.
If you have an idea how we should give away the T-shirts, post it here! It might be an idea for a competition, or just a way to gift top community contributors. We will pick the best idea and simply do it!
Hmmm… are we getting a new logo? wiki looks sans-serif to me!

Love the shirt. How about having some kind of quiz or trivia question. Of course you'd have to have a narrow timeline window otherwise everyone would just google the answers! LOL!!!
Yeap, it's Helvetica AFAIR. We have made a little rebranding for printing and business materials purposes as it has better and fresher look. I can't promise anything but there is a possibility of introducing this changed logo in the next main site design version as well.
Could you keep 3 of the t-shirts for a community competition please. During the (northern hemisphere) summer I want to run a comp for a re-design for the community site. I am thinking that the first prize would be a $100 Amazon voucher which I will provide, with a t-shirt for the top 3 designs. A team of the community admins would decide the winners. I haven't worked out the full details yet but 3 of these new t-shirts would be great as part of the prize.

Sounds great! We will definitely provide the T-shirts. Still open for other ideas.

Occasionally Wikidot comes up when I'm speaking to people in general conversation, and I attempt to promote it as much as possible. I could imagine that by wearing one of these I'd get asked about Wikidot more often, or may even find other Wikidot users in Adelaide.
I would be willing to pay for one. Perhaps you should consider setting up a store to sell this kind of merchandise, along with branded coffee mugs, etc. Has that kind of thing been considered before?

Yep, some branded Wikidot merchandise would be good. I'd love a good Wikidot Coffee Mug.

I meant to add I'd like to be able to "purchase" a Wikidot coffee mug in an online store.

Thanks a lot for this! I believe it helps us a lot to promote Wikidot and make it more and more common.
Thx for the tip. We will consider this. It may be a good idea to have a gift shop and to make give-away actions, i.e. competitions or rewards from time to time.
:) I make sure Wikidot (and Caspio which is the other half of my life) comes up all the time in conversations about what I do!
I agree with Shane that Wikidot should set up a store for the t-shirts and other merchandise like mugs, hats, teddy bears of Michal etc. If Wikidot itself doesn't want to we could perhaps do so via the community: I am testing a shopping cart called ecwid which works really well on Wikidot sites.

Haha ;-)
Might want to release stress balls as well for next time a Mac OS is released and Wikidot starts getting pounded with visitors. Otherwise people might turn to making the teddy bear into a pin cushion as an alternative outlet of their rage :P
(Hope you don't mind me suggesting that pins be pushed into a likeness of you, Michal - all for humour's sake!)

Only if you promise not to use them as voodoo dolls whenever you get an Ajax request failed error :-)

How about giving them to people who have existing pro + accounts or who upgrade to new a pro+ account and make them available for sale for other account holders. We (the pro+ account users) could then pay a small fee for postage and handling to be shipped to us wherever we are in the world.
Rather than Wikidot staff having to deal with the postage and handling you probably could give it to an mail house agency in Poland to handle it for you. I'd be happy to pay up to $20 USD to have it shipped to me in Australia.
