I proposed a new design sketch for the Rating module about a week ago, and after a good discussion, the sketch turned into what I'd consider a very solid design. Now I'm going to do the same with the Watchers module.

This is the first blog entry I'm writing after the comments have been made on it. This hopefully won't be a habit but in this case it seems to make sense.

Tuesday again, and you know what that means: time to vent, express yourself, fume, get on your soapbox, hit the ceiling, run amok, carry on in a paroxysm of demagoguery, and generally tell us what rubs you the wrong way with respect to Wikidot.

The blog and opensource templates are looking good. We need a bunch of little changes to make page-based forums work really well, and then we need to add a way to create new sites based on a template. In the meantime, I've started on the third template site: monobook-template.wikidot.com. Update: renamed wiki-template to monobook-template.

To anyone using the '-fixed' themes (orange-fresh-fixed, etc.), sorry! I just renamed the whole set and broke your site's look and feel. My apologies. The experimental phase of these themes is now over and they are ready for beta use.

With a little luck, I'm getting this blog posting out before midnight CET. I've just finished the draft of the open source template site and am handing over to leiger.

About a month ago we (Ed Johnson, leiger and myself) started on a project to build a blog template site and it's ready to test.
