Over the last days we've seen problems as many people came to looking for information on Apple's upcoming Mac OS X release. Today I can explain in more detail why these problems happened, and how we're going to fix them.

26 August, 21:13 CET: for what it's worth, there are two independent live
backups of the database. No matter how bad crashes, you will
not lose your edits or sites. Every single edit is replicated off-site,
twice. Tomorrow we will re-upgrade to the latest software version. This
should happen without any downtime.

wstone does not match any existing user name wrote "I recently applied for a job on a certain "monstrous" website and wanted to include my CV. That particular website only allows their own profile to be sent and so I needed to post my CV somewhere online. Hence… Needs a lot more work on appearance but the sheer simplicity of it seems to work."

A Hall of Fame shoutout goes to James Kanjo for once again shifting the goal posts with Wikidot. Phil Chett (also an extraordinary individual) started the Event Calendar project, to build a calendar system that is 100% Wikidot. Will it wikify? We'll see!
